Central Suction Systems

Central suction systems from Ti-Tella in Vienna

Central Suction System, 2.2 to 160 kW

The central suction system can extract materials such as dust, shavings, or liquids via central piping. Depending on specific requirements, the material is either sucked first into a pre-separator or straight into the filter separator.

The system consists of:

  • Central piping with connection points
  • pre-separator and / or filter separator
  • vacuum unit

The central piping consists of stainless steel, galvanized or painted steel pipes, the nominal widths of which are adapted to the respective conditions and air capacities. The pipes are coupled with clamps, which removes the need for welding. This enables simple and time-saving dismantling due to wear and tear. The bends in the piping can consist of steel with large radii or rubber. The Suction connectors are available in nominal widths from 38 mm to 200 mm. On request, self-closing Suction connectors can be equipped with microswitches to instantly switch on the system.

The pre-separators are available in a wide variety of designs and are adapted to customer requirements.

The filter separators are available in sizes from 2 to 160 m² of filter area. Different discharge systems, container sizes, coated or antistatic filters, cleaning of the filters by means of compressed air or pressure compensation, level regulators and stand shapes are adapted to the respective conditions. This ensures that the system can be precisely integrated into your production process.

The vacuum unit is available with 300 m³ / h to 11,000 m³ / h suction capacity and a negative pressure of up to 900 mbar. The system can be installed within a sound-insulated cabinet and is equipped with all the necessary safety functions. An additional safety filter protects the vacuum pump from damage. This can also be designed as an absolute filter to extract toxic dust. The control cabinet is usually built directly on top of the acoustic hood. Various controlling methods are clarified with the operator and delivered.

Our extensive modular system guarantees optimal design and cost-saving. We plan the extraction systems together with our customers and according to their specific requirements. The systems can be delivered in components or pre-assembled.

The direct integration of suction systems into the production process has proven to be particularly effective because of this material costs can be reduced considerably. We have installed several central extraction systems in truck production facilities in which metal chips and coolants can be cleaned at thirteen different extraction points. The extracted chips and the emulsion are separated in the filter and then sent on for recovery. Other customers use our extraction systems to extract dust, solids, sludge, or liquids.

For example, in the production of sugar and salt, the stationary central suction systems are required to clean systems and machines. The recovered material is fed back into production at the very beginning of the process. This allows optimization of production costs!
