Dust Removal Systems

Dust collectors from Ti-Tella in Vienna

Dust arises in many different production areas.
Since the base material is often extremely valuable or hazardous to health, it is vital that the material is extracted directly at the emission points
and can then be returned to the production process.
These systems can also be used at the transfer points of conveyor belts to prevent dust from escaping. This can reduce scrap and save costs. Other areas of application are the direct extraction of casting or graphite dust on machining centres, silo filters and much more.

Systems for flammable or explosive dust and gases can also be supplied!

Cartridge filters from Ti-Tella, Vienna

Dust arises frequently and is a factor for many companies. Releasing it into the atmosphere unfiltered is detrimental to environment and to people’s health. Our engineers, with years of experience in the field, have now developed a new dedusting cartridge that has undergone significant improvement. It provides you with more control over the dedusting problems you face. Our new filter technology consists of the cartridge and the separate support basket made from powder-coated steel. This is retained when the filter is changed and not replaced.

Another feature is the minor pressure drop which is due to the fact that there is no outer basket. The embossing of the filter material prevents the folds from lying on top of one another which ensures a good, even flow. The filter categories U, S, G, and C are possible. Usable materials are cellulose and polyester in various applications which also include antistatic versions.

Volume flow: 500 - 24,000 m³ / h

Bag filter from Ti-Tella, Vienna

If you need to reliably and efficiently remove dust when manufacturing or processing a wide variety of materials, such as granulated or powdery substances, and you would prefer a low-maintenance filter system that cleans with compressed air, then our bag filters are a great solution. They are used to separate all types of dry dust, from sub micron to coarse, during silo ventilation, material handling, mechanical processing, minimum quantity lubrication and general process technology. Different filter materials and filter classes can be adapted to your specific needs.

Volume flow: 1,000 - 200,000 m³ / h

Wet scrubber from Ti-Tella, Vienna

Many dedusting problems cannot be solved using surface or deeper filtration methods. Our wet scrubber is ideal for the separation of sticky dusts and for processes which require the conditioning of air. Two of the best applications, are the filtration of aluminium dust and the exhaust air from casting.
In the wet scrubber, the dusts are dissolved in water forming emulsions or dissolving into the solution.
Our wet scrubber is a very robust air filter system that uses a material that is readily available worldwide - water.

Volume flow: 2,000 - 80,000 m³ / h

Spot filter from Ti-Tella, Vienna

Our extraction systems are designed for decentralized dust extraction in connection with mechanical or pneumatic conveying. Depending on the material to be separated, the filter systems can be created by using various filter types and materials, such as cartridges, hose cartridges or bag filters. The cleaning is automatic and continuous.

Due to the containment, the whole system is kept under negative pressure and therefore prevents any dust from escaping. The sucked dust is automatically separated by the filter and transferred to a system underneath (e.g. conveyor belt). This results in no need for extra maintenance work.

Designs and possible uses:
  • 1.8 to 152 m² filter surface
  • Various cloth or cartridge filter materials
  • Horizontal for attachment to silos, chain or belt conveyors, transfer points, screws and more.
  • Vertical, for mounting on elevators
  • As a vacuum filter with a built-in or separate fan to act as an overpressure filter, e.g. on injection silos

Advantages:
  • Minimal maintenance requirement
  • no dust discharge system
  • no pipeline system as the dust is discharged directly back to the conveyor system
  • no container emptying is necessary
  • low energy consumption
  • no risk of dust mixing which is experienced when using long pipe lengths
  • no dust deposits in the suction lines
  • reduced risk of explosion and fire

Activated carbon filter from Ti-Tella, Vienna

The ring layer adsorber DHG is a robust, airtight welded sheet steel construction. One or two ring layers made of perforated stainless-steel sheets are integrated into the device. The adsorber is filled from the top and the used activated carbon is drained from the underside of the device. The flow is either from the outside to the inside or from the inside to the outside. Our activated carbon filters are ideal for separating organic gases and vapours, ammonia NH3, odours, formaldehyde and more. We offer a selection of different coal types for this process.

Volume flow: 10,000 - 60,000 m3 / h

Special features:
  • High degree of separation (long processing time)
  • Various types of activated carbon which are exchangeable
  • Very reliable
  • Stable 3 mm sheet steel construction
  • It is possible to use two different types of activated charcoal at the same time

Rolling band filter from Ti-Tella, Vienna

The GDB rolling band filter consists of composite sheet steel profiles and is one of the most robust filters of its kind. The take-up reel and sprocket bearings are made of high-quality polyamide, the sprockets themselves are made of galvanized steel and the cover rails on either side can be adjusted according to the filter belt used. Due to their design, the GDB rolling band filters can be built into sheet metal ducts or stone as required. The rolling band filter is used as a prefilter in heating, ventilation and in air conditioning systems as well as intake centres for gas turbines.

Volume flow: 7,950 - 406,000 m³ / h
Special features:
  • Constant, very low filter resistance
  • Explosion-proof design possible
  • The clean air filter belt is protected against dirt with the use of a washable spring roller blind

Optional accessories:
  • Pressure monitoring via U-tube or contact manometer
  • Automatically controlled pressure for the filter belt
  • Manual control
  • Coil cover made of sheet steel
